1. What we collect
Nothing. Stilldip has no user accounts, no sign-in, and no backend servers. We do not collect, transmit, or store your questions, your answers, your journal entries, your device identifiers, your location, or any usage analytics.
The App Store privacy label for Stilldip reads Data Not Collected, and that is accurate.
2. Where your data lives
Every question you ask and every note you write is stored only in Stilldip's private storage on your iPhone. It never leaves the device. We cannot read it, recover it, or restore it.
If you delete the app, that data is deleted with it. If you want to keep it, keep the app.
3. Microphone and speech recognition
You can speak your question instead of typing it. When you do:
- Speech is converted to text entirely on your device, using Apple's
on-device speech recognition. We set
requiresOnDeviceRecognitionto true. - Audio is never uploaded to Apple's servers, to us, or to anyone else.
- Audio is not saved. Only the resulting text goes into the text field, and only if you then choose to ask.
- If on-device recognition is unavailable on your device, the feature simply reports that it is unavailable. It does not fall back to server-based recognition.
Microphone access is requested only when you tap the microphone button, and it is used for nothing else.
4. Purchases
Purchases are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. We never see or handle your payment details, card numbers, or billing address. We receive only an anonymous signal from Apple's StoreKit indicating whether an active purchase exists on your device.
Apple's handling of purchase data is governed by Apple's Privacy Policy.
5. Third parties
Stilldip contains no third-party SDKs. No analytics, no crash reporting, no advertising, no attribution frameworks, no social logins. The app makes no network requests of its own.
6. Children
Stilldip is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect information from anyone. Since we collect nothing at all, there is nothing to delete on request.
7. Your rights
Regulations such as GDPR and CCPA give you rights to access, correct, export, and delete personal data held about you. We hold none. Your data is in your hands, on your device, and you can delete it at any time by deleting entries in the app or removing the app.
8. Changes
If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page. If a future version of Stilldip ever collects data, we will say so here clearly and ask for your consent before doing it.
